Jim Ferolo’s research and production experience has spanned the commercial, educational, and non-profit sectors after finishing a B.S. in marketing and M.F.A. in interactive and narrative design at Northwestern University. Jim is Creative Director of the Iona Group, Float Mobile Learning and Chair of the Interactive Media Department at Bradley University, and Co-Director of the New Media Center at Bradley University. His research and application currently blends an understanding of mobile, mediated classroom technology, interactive production environments and research methodologies in the development of interactive media systems; intermedial performances, transmedial theory, computer-based simulations and on-line education. His publication and creative works include media development and research for The New Media Center, The Broadcast Education Association, Adler Planetarium, Christie Digital, The Field Museum, DuPont, Independent Game Festival, The City of Chicago’s Millennium Project, Museum of Broadcast Communication, Fuse, MTV, and VH1 networks, Bayer, Veolia, Accenture, Computer Discount Warehouse, Department of Defense, Tyson Foods, Pioneer, Caterpillar, Museum of Science and Industry, Midway Airport, Shure Corporation, Franklin Covey, State Farm, Miller Heiman, AT&T, Intel, Growmark, Wiley, Abbot, and Spice Islands.
